How Droppery aims to modernize dropshipping
The Dutch startup Droppery, founded in 2021 by Marco Mulder and Robin van der Heiden, is on a mission to modernize dropshipping and improve its reputation. By focusing on European-made, high-quality products and short delivery times, Droppery aims to make automated dropshipping accessible to a wider range of online retailers.
Automating and upgrading traditional dropshipping
Once considered a low-quality and unreliable sales model, dropshipping is being redefined by Droppery through automation, transparency, and quality assurance. The company’s SaaS platform connects suppliers and brands with online retailers, allowing them to easily expand their assortments and manage orders without manual processing. Retailers benefit from automated product integration, real-time inventory updates, and streamlined logistics—especially useful for bulky home and living products.
Since its launch in September 2021, the platform has already surpassed 80,000 products from over 70 European suppliers and brands, focusing on home and outdoor furniture categories. Droppery supports popular e-commerce systems like Lightspeed, Shopify, Shopware, and WooCommerce and plans continued expansion with a new office in Cologne.
European quality and rapid growth
Droppery operates in over 10 countries, positioning itself as the go-to European platform for high-end dropshipping. By limiting partnerships to reliable European suppliers, it ensures fast delivery times and premium product quality. The founders’ goal is to make dropshipping a credible, scalable model that helps retailers grow without stock risks while offering suppliers access to new digital sales channels.
